Come Grieve with Me

Session two of Good Grief in community, this Wednesday.

Last month I invited people to join me for a pilot Good Grief writing hour. Part of my attempt to offer things I hope might be of value to paying subscribers, beyond my words.

A few people showed! 🙏🏼❤️✊🏼 Making me feel like I need to try again this month in case a few more people show.

I’m still figuring out what this space will hold, since it will ultimately depend on who shows up. I want it to be a place where people feel safe showing up in grief. Many kinds grief. Knowing they will encounter others facing theirs.

Too many spaces in this world shame and silence the grieving. Leading too many of us to walk around filled with unexpressed grief. Suffering compound losses as society prevents us from mourning our primary losses.

Not grieving hurts everyone.

Come grieve with me. Come to a safe space where you’re allowed to not be fine. Where you won’t be shamed or ostracized for sharing pain honestly.
