The gathering will take place on Zoom at the link below. Video is optional. I’ll welcome everyone and say a little about why I find writing to be so useful in processing my grief, invite anyone who wants to introduce themselves, and then set a timer for 12 minutes of writing. At the conclusion of each writing session, I will share what I’ve written and invite anyone else who wants to do the same. We’ll repeat two or three times based on how many people want to share.
As with video, sharing your writing is completely optional. But I hope to create a trauma-informed space that feels safe and welcoming enough to do so.
As a word of warning, I am in the middle of packing and moving so I have a lot of loss right at the surface. And my physical space is a mess!
