I woke at 5 a.m. to a horn honking repeatedly as a car made a victory lap through the neighborhood. Letting me know Trump won.

Trump supporters are statistically more likely to make a loud predawn statement trumpeting victory.

Saved me needing to check my phone. Helped me know what I’d find when I did. Confirmed my suspicions.

I feel other people’s feelings and my shoulders hurt so much it’s beginning to limit my range of motion. I feel a lot of people carrying a lot of weight. My shoulders are always tense and many a masseuse has tried to work through my knots. But this is next level.

Letting me know I’m carrying other people’s pain. Also that others are experience tightness and tension through their shoulders, too. It’s getting me back to daily yoga practice. As pain has a way of doing.

Probably if I stuck with daily yoga practice pain might not creep in…
