I'm Late and I'm Not Grieving

Sorry to all who expect me to show up on Wednesdays in grief.

I am disobedient. Because I got punished too much as a child.

I am currently working with a woman who calls herself “The Disobedient Writer” and refuses to play by the rules. She also doesn’t teach people to write following an outline. Because she knows the best writing doesn’t follow an outline.

She is MY PEOPLE.

I’ve spent this week helping a treasured teacher and good friend, Anya Achtenberg, establish a presence here on Substack. (Soon to launch, I’ll let you know when she does.) I’ve taken three classes with Anya and all have improved my writing immeasurably. The last one helped me find my way to a structure for my book!!!
