I’ve been trying to designate a day for grief for quite some time. Finally had some success over the past several months. Each Wednesday since October, I’ve written about grief on Instagram and Facebook. Where I’ve been recording my days in great detail for the past several years.

In October, I started trying to get more disciplined in my writing, devoting a post each day to a specific subject.

Mondays are for memoir writing, Tuesdays are for self-compassion, Wednesdays are for grief, Thursdays are for gratitude, Fridays are for culinary therapy, and Saturdays are for brain food, a recap of the content I’ve put into my head that week.

On Sundays I do a video selfie looking back at the week. Filmed as I drive from one place where I live to another. I divide my time between Washington, DC, and Malvern, Pennsylvania, and make the three-hour drive between the two every Sunday afternoon.
